Biography

Prof. Niclou is an internationally renowned expert in the field of Neuro-Oncology research. Trained as a biologist, she earned a PhD at the Friedrich Miescher Institute in Basel and worked for many years in the US and the Netherlands as a neuroscientist. From 2005-2023, she was a group leader and department director at the Luxembourg Institute of Health. Since 2023, she is Vice-Rector for Research at the University of Luxembourg, where she is also responsible for the coordination of the Medicine & Health portfolio.
