Biography
Professor Guillaume Vogin (MD, PhD) is an oncologist and the medical/general director of the François Baclesse Center – the national radiotherapy center, a university professor, and a researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH). He specializes in hadron therapy, sarcomas, pediatric oncology, and nervous system tumors. He has developed expertise in treating patients who have experienced unusual side effects in order to propose strategies for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. He currently coordinates around ten national and international projects. As a lecturer, he teaches at the University of Luxembourg (UniLu) and leads a European program. Guillaume Vogin is the author of 60 original articles and the recipient of several awards (Académie de Stanislas, Fondation des Treilles, Société Française de Pédiatrie, Renaissance Française, Lucien Mallet Medal, Fondation Nuovo-Soldati)..
