Description
Since its creation in 2018, the Luxembourg Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) has brought together all the national players in the emergency services within a single public establishment.
The CGDIS is responsible for civil protection missions, including the protection of people, animals, property and the environment against calamities, disasters and catastrophes.
Today, the CGDIS is the largest corps in the country, with 6,628 volunteer firefighters, 608 professional firefighters and 233 administrative and technical staff.
