HWL Awards Rules for Healthcare Week Luxembourg
Article 1 – Call for Applications
As part of the annual Healthcare Week Luxembourg (HWL) event, the Organizers are launching a call for applications to identify, recognize, and promote innovation in the healthcare sector. Candidates are invited to compete in one of the three defined categories. Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their innovations and participate in the award ceremony.
Article 2 – Conditions and Participation Methods
Candidates must be companies meeting the following conditions:

Candidates are invited to compete in one of the three defined categories. Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their innovations and participate in the award ceremony.
Article 2 – Conditions and Participation Methods
Candidates must be companies meeting the following conditions:
- Created before 01/09/2023.
- No member of the Jury should be part of the company.
- Adhere to these rules.
Any incomplete application or one that does not meet the criteria will be rejected.
The categories are as follows:
- Start-up Awards
- Innovation in Hospital Management
- Awards Medical Research Awards
Article 3 – Exhibition and Awards
Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their innovations during the HWL. One solution in each category will be named the winner and awarded during the award ceremony. The finalists' pitch will take place on October 1st.
Article 4 – Integrity of Information and Communication with the Jury
Candidates must ensure the truthfulness of the information provided and not establish direct contact with the jury members.
Article 5 – Protection of Solutions
Candidates must ensure that their property rights are protected. The organizers disclaim any responsibility for the commercial or non-commercial use of the projects presented.
Article 6 – Authorizations
Candidates authorize the organizers to use the name and description of the solutions, as well as the images provided, for communication and promotion of the call for applications.
Article 7 – Organizers' Responsibility
The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the call for applications and to inform the candidates accordingly.
Article 8 – Language of the Call for Applications
The full rules are published in English. Applications must be submitted in English only.
