Description
Marjolein van de Pol was trained as physician and General Practitioner in Nijmegen The Netherlands. She specialized in elderly care and education. Her research focuses on shared decision making, elderly care, education and student wellbeing (and sustainable employability).
She is director of medical education at Nijmegen Radboud school of Medicine. In 2020 she was prinicpal author of the new medical training framework that describes the final qualifications of medical training in the Netherlands (20.1577_Raamplan_Medical_Training_Framework_2020_-_May_2020.pdf (nfu.nl))
She uses her broad perspective on medicine, education and sustainable employability to discuss the future of healthcare education.
